I am a student. I study at the Teacher Training College. Our college is situated in the town of Kataisk. It has a long history.
My college was founded in 1931 and had the name "Pedagogical School”.At that time it had only one school department and prepared primary school teachers.
Then a preschool department was founded and it prepared tutors for kindergartens.
In 1968 a new art-graphic department appeared in the Pedagogical School.
In 1997 a preschool department was renamed into social pedagogical department, because it began to teach future social pedagogues.
In 2002 a department of foreign languages started its work preparing teachers of English and German.
In 2010 our Pedagogical School got a new name "Teacher Training College” and it had 6 specialties: "Primary school teaching”, "Preschool education”, "Social pedagogic”, "Pedagogic of additional education”, "Foreign language” and "Art and graphic”.
In 2013 our college was joined with the vocational school and a new educational institution was called "Kataisk Professional Teacher Training College”.
Now it has 2 departments: secondary and primary professional education.
